Kassi Brooks, MS. CCC/SLP
Kassi Brooks is a speech language pathologist with 8 years of experience in a variety of settings including hospitals, home health, inpatient rehabilitation, skilled nursing facilities and outpatient therapy. She graduated from Baylor University in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
She attended Stephen F. Austin State University and graduated in 2009 with a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology. She has held her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association since 2010. She is an active member of the American Cleft Palate Association.
Kassi joined the Pediatric Plastic Surgery Institute’s craniofacial team to specialize in craniofacial anomalies, including the evaluation and treatment of; articulation disorders due to velopharyngeal function, resonance disorders due to velopharyngeal dysfunction, and evaluation and treatment of feeding and swallowing disorders in the population with a cleft lip and/or palate. In addition to this population, Kassi specializes in working with children and adolescents with a wide variety of communication, speech, language, and feeding/swallowing disorders.
Kassi is committed to providing the support, opportunities and speech therapy services necessary to promote every child’s independence and overall development from infancy through adolescence.
